Friday 16th June

Up at 0500hrs, I must be insane. I was hoping to see foxes or even Roe deer, but saw neither. The Great Crested Grebe was on the 'long Lake' but no sign of its partner or the chicks. Young Heron posing on the 'No Fishing Sign', couldn't get into a a position to get the sign and bird in the frame. Did notice that this bird was a lot more tolerant than other Grey heron. I am led to believe that in some parts of the country they actually feed out of your hand. Sounds dangerous to me. We had a good walk but not a lot happening.
