With it being the weekend, decided to go out a bit earlier to avoid the crowds! Already very warm and only 7:30 am. Came across a 'colony' of Grayling Butterflies, about 20 in all, already very active in the warmth of the sun. Flock of Black headed Gulls still on the lake, Lapwings have moved on bar one pair.
