Sunday 23rd July

On the marsh by 7:00am, already warming up for another hot day. Grey Heron saw me coming and was off! Walked over the railway to the south of the marsh, pretty quiet, swan family still intact, eight cygnets. Small group of tufted duck, and one Canada goose making a lot of noise, calling for some company no doubt. Came across a different butterfly, one that I have not seen before (see photo). By the time we got back to the Fleet and the north marsh, there were anglers and dog walkers all over the place. I hope they enjoy what is around them? Please enjoy today's photographs.
