Now thats what I call a nest.

Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo).
Pair of Shelduck. Striking colours.
Brown Hare.
Kept so still that I didn't see her, right under my nose.
Misty morning.
Even in poor weather there is a beauty to the marsh.
Hawthorn in blossom.
(Northern) Wheatear. Summer visitor from Africa, one of the first migrants to arrive.
Song Thrush.
Ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata).
Very common plant, didn't know what it was until today.
Gorse. A splash of early spring colour!
Marsh Marigold, found on the banks of the fleet.
A surprised Moorhen. Didn't know where to go.
Common Pied Wagtail or rare White Wagtail? I don't know and he doesn't care.

Watched this mute swan eating the seed heads of the
Bull-rushes
Looks like the marsh is on fire!
Love the movement in this shot.
Much folklore is recorded about the Robin.
