Must try harder to get up earlier. Lovely sunny, warm morning. Greeted by Mr Song Thrush and Mr Wren. Swifts were high in the sky, indicating that the insects were rising on thermals. Watched several Black Headed Gulls catching insects with the Swifts. They have a long way to go before they become as proficient, but have not noticed this behavior before. Plenty of Butterfly and Dragonfly around the Fleet, very active and therefore difficult to photograph. Enjoy .
