An overcast day, but calm. Ideal for taking close up photographs. I therefore concentrated on the flora side of the marsh. However, my first photograph is a general view of the marsh taken from the entrance gate at Warrenby and shows the 'perch' kindly erected by the staff of the Teesvalley Wildlife Trust. I've seen every type of bird using it, from the kestrel as seen in the photo to reed buntings. I noticed that foundation work is progressing on replacing the hide, I look forward to its completion.
